All Care was thrilled to join forces with students from Masconomet Middle School to honor our Veterans. 7th grade art students, led by Ursina Amsler, created beautifully designed poppies, some of which are displayed below, for All Care to distribute as part of our We Honor Veterans Program, which takes place throughout November.

The symbolism of the poppy started with a poem written by a World War I brigade surgeon who was struck by the sight of the red flowers growing on a ravaged battlefield. Since then, the poppy has become a national symbol of remembrance for all those who sacrificed for our freedom.

Thank you to the students from Masco for making this years’ ceremonies that much more special.
