Full-time HHA retires to become full-time Grandma

After 33 years of working hard and caring for others as a Home Health Aide at All Care, Marie Joassaint decided it was time to retire.

Marie began working as a staff aide at All Care back in 1988 and she has loved her job ever since.  Marie forged many close relationships over the past three decades and was well loved by both staff and her patients and their families “My patients were like my family. I took a lot of pride in caring for them.  It made me feel better to see them cared for and loved” says Marie.

Robin Hernando, HHA Scheduler, says Marie will certainly be missed. “It was a pleasure working with Marie.  She was always willing to help and went the extra mile. Whenever she had to work on a difficult case, she would never complain, and her priority was to always try and make the client feel better”.

Elaine Buckley, Director of All Care Resources says “Marie was the best! She was a hard-worker and did an excellent job caring for the patients. People loved her. She has a thick file of positive testimonials from patients and families. We will miss her but wish her the best.”

All Care Resources has been so fortunate to have such a loyal and qualified employee for over thirty years. As much as she loved her job at All Care and helping people, she decided that it was time to retire.  Marie said what she will miss most are her clients, but her next role will be her favorite one. She will be a full-time Grandma and help to care for her two grandchildren ages one and three; as Marie says, “they are only young once”.  Marie’s hard-working spirit and caring quality will continue even in retirement.
