All Care VNA and Hospice has joined Hope & Comfort’s movement to provide essential hygiene products and put soap in the hands of those who need it most.

Hope & Comfort is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide essential personal hygiene products to support and improve the health, self-esteem, and hygiene education to school-aged children and young adults in need in the Greater Boston area.  With the ongoing pandemic, it is particularly important to provide personal hygiene products to help decrease the risk of spreading the infection.

All Care has cared for over 250 COVID positive patients during the pandemic and as part of their effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19, All Care VNA is distributing 75 bags filled with hygiene products, generously donated by Hope & Comfort.   Hygiene access: particularly access to soap for proper hand washing, is more important than ever.  All Care’s Clinical Director, Maureen Collier says, “We are grateful to Hope & Comfort for providing these products”.

Hope & Comfort has launched a rapid emergency response to the COVID-19 crisis and has distributed over 785,494 essential hygiene products to over 100 community partners in impoverished communities.  This number continues to grow daily.  Hope & Comfort’s vision is that one day everyone living in the United States will have access to essential hygiene products to feel clean, confident, and healthy.
