What Does an All Care Home Health Aide Do?
- Helps patients with activities such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing teeth, and grooming (e.g., combing hair, shaving).
- Helps with moving around, whether it is transferring from a bed to a wheelchair or helping with walking to prevent falls.
- Helps with using the bathroom or managing incontinence.
- Reminds patients to take their medications on time.
- May check vital signs like temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Tasks like cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Preparing nutritious meals and helping with feeding, if needed.
