Physical Therapy

In-home physical therapy (PT) is great for those recovering from surgery, injury, hospital stay, or those who have a chronic condition.

Activities like walking up and down stairs, getting up from a chair or off the toilet, and reaching a high shelf can be hard. That is where our PTs come in. They help patients build strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. By focusing on these goals, home health care physical therapy helps patients recover more efficiently, regain their independence, and improve their overall quality of life in a familiar and supportive environment.

What Does an All Care Physical Therapist Do?

  • Assess and evaluate the patient’s condition, mobility, and limitations.
  • Create a customized treatment plan that targets the areas that need the most attention.
  • Provide exercises, stretches, and other treatments to improve strength, balance, and range of motion. They may also provide instructions on how to perform exercises safely between visits.
  • Non-invasive methods to manage pain, such as manual therapy, heat, or cold therapy.
  • Recommend mobility aids like walkers, canes, or wheelchairs, and provide instructions on how to use them.
  • Evaluate patient’s home for ways to improve safety and remove fall risks.
  • Communicate regularly with members of the patient’s care team, including nurses, occupational therapists, doctors, and other health care professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
