Insurance Verifier

All Care’s Insurance Verifier reviews and confirms patients’ insurance coverage for home health care services. The role ensures that the services provided are covered by the patient’s insurance plan, avoiding claim denials and financial issues.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (no remote options)

Work Location: Lynn, MA

• Responsible for the verification of patient insurance data and benefits.
• Accurate data entry of insurance benefits in EMR.
• Confers with appropriate departments on any changes to insurance benefits.
• Assists supervisor with resolutions of problems or conflicts concerning insurance benefits.

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

•  Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a health care setting
  • Knowledge of 3rd party payers preferred

• Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, insurance providers, and health care staff.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, coding, and medical billing procedures.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion.
