All Care’s Home Health Aide Training and Certification Course is a 75-hour program that certifies you as a home health aide. Topics covered in this training include:
- Home health care
- Patients’ rights
- Elder abuse
- Communication
- Aging
- End-of-life care
- Infection control
- Nutrition
- Personal care
- Rehabilitation
- Common diseases
- Emergency procedures

Expectations of Program Participants
- iPhone or Android phone required
- Have your own vehicle, a current driver’s license, and be listed as an insured driver on the insurance policy
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Commit to work 20 hours of work a week (minimum) 37.5 hours per week (maximum)
Expectations of Program Participants
- Understand the role of the home health aide as a member of the home care team
- How to assist clients and their caregivers in creating and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Develop skills that will contribute towards a client’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
- Learn respectful/ ethical/ confidential communication skills when providing personal care to clients.
- Develop skills to assist clients in safely moving around their home.
- Understand how to communicate with clients with mental health challenges and/or dementia.
