All Care Names Dr. Hans C. Jeppesen as Associate Medical Director
Dr. Hans C. Jeppesen has recently joined All Care Hospice as Associate Medical Director. Dr. Jeppesen leads Charter Health PC, Lynn, MA, a medical practice he founded that provides internal medicine services in the North Shore area of Boston. In his role with All Care, Dr. Jeppesen will provide consultative services for pain management and quality of life issues for patients with advanced illness.
All Care Names New Adult Foster Care Program Manager
Michele Meltzer, LICSW, of Swampscott has recently been named Adult Foster Care Program Manager for All Care’s Resource Division. Meltzer, who has Master’s Degree in Social Work from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, joined All Care in November 2016 as a VNA Medical Social Worker before being promoted to Adult Foster Care Manager in April of 2018. With over 15 years’ experience in social work, Michele brings a wealth of experience to her new role at All Care.
Community Involvement “Makes the Mark” for All Care Hospice at the 26th Annual All Care Charity Golf Open
All Care VNA & Hospice announced that its 26th Annual Charity Golf Open held on June 25th at Gannon Golf Course, Lynn, MA was a tremendous success, thanks to the involvement of many members of the community. Over $50,000 was raised from the event, which will benefit All Care Hospice patients by providing compassionate medical, emotional and spiritual care, regardless of one’s ability to pay. Personalized bereavement support is provided to families, in addition to support groups available to the community at the All Care Hospice Center for Grief & Loss, located at the agency’s main headquarters at 210 Market Street in Lynn.
All Care Names New Palliative Care Program Manager
Laurie McFarland, RN of Winthrop has recently been named Palliative Care Program Manager for All Care’s Hospice Division. McFarland joined All Care in 2016 as a Hospice RN Case Manager before being promoted to Palliative Care Program Manager in April of 2018. She served as a hospice and palliative care nurse at Hallmark Health in Malden for five years, and as staff nurse focusing on end of life care at Epoch of Melrose for two years.
