The Massachusetts Department of Public Health periodically administers unannounced surveys of hospice agencies to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and to assess the quality of care provided. On Tuesday, January 24, DPH surveyors arrived at All Care Hospice and began an immediate, thorough review of clinical documentation, administrative and clinical procedures, employment files, quality data and collection procedures, contracts and emergency preparedness. In addition, they conducted interviews with clinicians and accompanied them on home visits to assess the quality of care provided to patients. At the conclusion of the two day survey, All Care Hospice was found to be in full compliance with all conditions of participations and regulations of a high quality hospice provider. They specifically noted the communication and collaboration across our interdisciplinary team was exceptional.
We are so incredibly proud of our hospice team and everyone in the office who supports the care in the field. We are lucky to have such caring and experienced caregivers on our team!
