All Care hosted its Annual Lights of Remembrance Service on Thursday December 3rd at their corporate headquarters at 210 Market Street in Lynn

December 8, 2015 — The holiday season can be a stressful time for everyone but especially so for those who have experienced a recent loss. On the evening of Thursday, December 3rd, staff, friends, and family joined together at the All Care VNA & Hospice building at 210 Market Street in Lynn for a service of remembrance, reflection, and celebration.

All Care’s “Lights of Remembrance” ceremony provides a unique opportunity for loved ones to remember and celebrate those who have passed but remain forever in their hearts. Candles are lit in celebration of the love and light that those remembered brought into the lives of their loved ones. All Care has established this meaningful, specialized service, open to anyone in the community who has experienced a loss, to help validate and honor grief after death. There are many different forms of grief, all of which become more difficult to face during the holiday season.

All Care’s all-inclusive nondenominational service included poetry and musical offerings as well as a candle and tree lighting ceremony that helped to create a sense of peace and balance for guests as well as provide community members a way to honor the lives of friends and family members they’d lost. Guests enjoyed a reception following the service where they reconnected with their hospice teams and shared stories with fellow hospice families. All Care’s “Lights of Remembrance” reminds us that special lives can and do live on, in our hearts, in our minds, and in our memories.
