Home Health Aide Recruiter

Position Overview:

The Home Health Aide Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring qualified home health aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to meet the needs of clients requiring in-home care. This position works closely with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality workforce that delivers compassionate, professional care to patients in the home care setting.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Work Location: In person, Lynn office

Position Type: Full Time
Compensation: $30/hour
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Sourcing:
    • Advertise job openings for home health aides across various job boards, recruitment platforms, and social media.
    • Actively source and screen potential candidates through resume reviews, interviews, and phone screenings.
    • Build and maintain a network of potential home health aide candidates, including using referrals, professional associations, and recruitment agencies.
  • Interviewing and Selection:
    • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit with the organization.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers or other team members.
    • Verify certifications, background checks, and references as part of the recruitment process.
  • Onboarding and Orientation:
    • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
    • Conduct orientations to familiarize new hires with company policies, procedures, and the expectations of their role.
  • Collaboration with HR and Staffing Teams:
    • Work closely with the HR department to ensure compliance with hiring regulations and certification requirements.
    • Maintain regular communication with staffing coordinators to ensure the proper placement of home health aides based on client needs.
  • Retention and Relationship Management:
    • Help develop and maintain relationships with current and potential candidates to support long-term recruitment needs.
    • Stay in touch with current home health aides to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  • Job Market Analysis:
    • Monitor trends in the home health care industry to identify areas of growth or potential challenges in recruitment.
    • Stay up-to-date with labor laws, industry standards, and certification requirements for home health aides.
Qualifications:
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Human Resources, Health Care Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, or health care recruitment is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal teams.
    • Knowledge of home health aide certifications, training, and licensing requirements.
    • Familiarity with job boards and recruitment platforms (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor).
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple candidates and job openings.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
